This committee will occur over several days in Salem, Massachusetts, during the time period known as the Salem Witch Trials, where many women and men alike where accused of witchcraft, tried, and executed. The committee will not only deal with the trials and executions of the alleged witches, but also the social and political context and conflicts the town was dealing with at this time.
